Every once in awhile I get an audio book that I can't stop listening to. Mudbound is one of those books. The characters are well developed and believable. They are described like real people with both good and bad qualities. I found myself wondering how they were doing after finishing the book. The author's way of weaving words together is truly artistic. I will definitely look for Hillary Jordan's next book!

This book gave an interesting history of Apple and it's fascinating leader. I found the messages about working with passion inspiring. I would have liked to learn more about Steve Jobs personally but am glad that the author respected his privacy.

This book was a good one to read for so many reasons. Mostly it made me not want to waste what I have. I had to keep reminding myself that it was "just a story" although I know it is possible. I was happy that the author pointed out that people with Alzheimer's still have feelings and we need to remember to respect them. The story was well developed.

I was sorry when this book ended. I'll miss all the wonderful characters. The technique of telling the story through letters was very clever and worked well. The authors did not sugar-coat the tragedies of WWII but instead focused on the goodness of people.
I found myself on my evening walks smiling as I listened. The readers were great.
