I usually like Ian Banks, his stories take a bit of getting into, but in the end they usually turn out ok. this book had the usual slow start and didn't get slightly interesting till the third part. However this soon fizzled out to a complete anti-climax.
Jack with some of his old team. Not the usual loner this time, but still good, revenge, naive baddies, a little laboured with the constant drives through LA, but overall enjoyable.
Great character, brutal but sometimes touching.
Good old fashioned good guy versus lots of bad guys.
Another Dick Francis Classic. Great with a fast moving engaging plot, a page turner,a great companion for anyone.
