Absolutely. I've read a number of autobiographies and a few of them by true 1% bikers and this was different. I'm not sure if it was because it took place in Australia or because he had such a close family but this book was great. I really enjoyed listening to the stories of his life. I'm looking forward to hearing more, as it looks like he has a second book coming out.
The "collection" that Caesar had in a jar.
All of it.
Yes and I can't wait for his second book to come out.
Check out this book it's great!
SUPER FUN BOOKS!
It's impossible to narrow it down to just one. This whole series is one long uninterrupted continuous story which makes every part of it flow seamlessly.
Sean Runnette’s performance was without a doubt superb! At first I wasn't sure about him. That quickly faded after about 3-4 chapters and now, after listening to 7 book he's narrated, I couldn't image anyone else even coming close to capturing the essence of Tufo's creations!
I couldn't stop listening! Even in the shower, I'd prop my phone on the edge just hoping it wouldn't fall in!
I have to admit, I'm a zombie story junkie. When I first signed up to Audible I didn't really listen. To be honest, I forgot I had a subscription and six months later I logged on to find I had six or so credits. Well, I found Zombie fallout and thought, "this looks interesting and has a bunch of books, why not..." so I downloaded like 4 Zombie Fallout books. Needless to say I didn't even listen to them! What an idiot I was! A year or so went by and I started listening to a lot of other great series, still not listening to any of the Tufo books. With the ever growing number of books in my Audible library, I actually forgot that I had even downloaded the Zombie Fallout series. When I did notice them again, I thought to myself "why did I download these? There are now like 7 books in series and it's probably just a bunch of trash that this Tufo guy threw out to make a quick buck. Kinda like the more words on paper the higher the paycheck." I tried to see if I could return them to Audible for the credits but it was a no go because it had been too long since I purchased them. So, I let them sit in my library untouched. THEN, I ran out of books that I hadn't listened to and had no new credits coming for a couple of weeks. At this point, I decided what the heck, I paid for these I'll give it a chance. Maybe I could force myself to listen until my new credits came in. From the first few minutes and continuing on through ever single book in the series, all I can say is WOW! Just WOW!!! I can't believe that went all that time not listening to the Tufo books and I had even tried to return them! What I huge mistake that had been! When I say these books are great, it's an immense understatement! Tufo's writing style is fresh, fun, and super easy to follow. His characters are awesome and highly entertaining! The books are very FUN to listen too! While they are not ground breaking, Pulitzer Prize wining books, (which they're obviously not supposed to be) they very easily could and should win awards for being some of the best new writing out to date! Once I finally started with the Zombie Fallout series, Tufo very quickly, has became one of my favorite authors. I've now listened to all of Zombie Fallout books, and am looking forward to devouring all of Mark Tufos other writings as well!
Buy these books!
This book was extremely boring and in my opinion very poorly written. There were a few ok points but for the most part, it was a total waste of time. It seemed to keep switching from an AUTO-biography to a text book about random crime facts and statistics that had little to do with the book, to a biography. This book seemed to be all over the place with the writing and very hard to follow. The only thing good about the audiobook was the narrator, who did a good job of reading the text and being very articulate. The narrator was the only thing about the book that was worth anything. Don't waste you time or money. Skip this one, you'll be much better off for it.
