The story was great, a Shadow best. The speaker explaining the history of The Shadow was interesting but was too much. I wanted to listen to the stories, not people talking about the stories.
Too much introduction.
No, not if the narrator is going to speak as much.
Story yes, narration no.
You can feel the apprehension, the tension and the excitement.
Yes, trying to guess who the killer was and why he was killing.
All of the ones with the main character and her niece. Such depth and understanding but still pivotal to the plot.
No matter who you think the killer is, think again.
Looking forward to more books from this author.
Clear, easy to listen to and genuine emotion of the characters.
It has action, adventure, family, and human spirit.
She generated genuine emotion to make you feel what the characters were going through.
If you have seen the movie, you haven't really been involved in "The Hunger Games". You must read the book!
