"Great Program"
Although this is listed in format 3, only one program out of the four is format 3. All the others were format 4, so the quality of the recordings was very good.
"Excellent show but ALWAYS LATE OR EVEN MISSING"
The show is one of the best available with tons of current and topical guests, however the show is rarely available as advertised and even (as of now) 3 of the last four episodes are missing over the last 6 days....
Totally worth the small cost if it were delivered as advertised but not worth a penny if you don't actually get to listen to it.....
Don't waste your time!!!
"Amazing work, It rarely gets better than this."
Pandora’s Star and Judas Unchained have to be considered one story, This review covers them both.
Having read all previous works by PFH I was delighted to see this epic being offered and with a well qualified narrator. John Lee did not narrate this book; he performed it like a well rehearsed poem. He has become a favourite of mine and is a perfect match for narrating British Sci Fi.
The story is fresh, new and like nothing that has been put forward before, Entire books worth of storylines and events are included and while often could be left as stand alone as a whole new dimension and supporting characters to a perfect mix.
This truly is an epic and yet still flows like a quick soft read, Amazing characters who start out as one thing and end up as another, A company CEO finishes as a HALO type Space Marine and yet I had no reservations as to how that would happen, it all fit’s into place and is natural.
The initial Prime invasion of The Commonwealth is almost terrifying to listen to and I have it book marked on my MP3 player just for the sheer performance Lee delivers. It is a stunning performance delivered where required as cold and calculating as the Primes themselves, Well done.
There is a gold mine of work by this author which should be recorded as soon as possible, Fans will not be disappointed if this level of effort continues.
"Just Perfect,Amazing Work, Stunning Characters!!!!"

I forgot that complex and involved epics could be done with such ease and stlye.

"In Space No One Can Hear You Smeg!!!"
A classic Audio Production that needs more like it in the series to be offered on Audible.
Chris Barrie does a spectacular reading and does the impressions of his cast members don to a T.
We would welcome more of this to Audible
"An amazing Gem"
Just a fantastic story with the Perfect Reader, really unexpected when I was browsing the site.
I have listened to this repeatedly in the background and still been as entertained as the 1st time I listened to it.
Excellent Characters in a not too distant/ possible time of horrible ruling and abuse of power made you feel like joining in on the march yourself.
Well done
"Excellent Text, Horrendous Narration"
This book is an amazing piece of work, Well researched, detailed and still incredibly entertaining even when detailing mundane actions and events. I can't think of any other book with so much information all brought together so well. I picked up the printed book so as to have a reference handy.
The naration was awful, If the text had not been so incredible I would have given up within 20 mins, "William Shakespeare's Henry IV" was being quoted and was read by the narator as "William Shakespeare's Henry Four"...I mean any 3rd Grader knows to add the "th" to a title...This and many other weird actions throughout the reading made me want to fling my MP3 player aganst a wall, He repeatedly dragged me out of the story.
This is the kind of audiobook that would win awards if given a competent Narator.
I would gladly give the book 100% but this is an audiobook website and the narration drags it down hard...
Please let a decent narrator try again, Ill buy it again with a good narrator
"So much opportunity wasted"
A great narration team failed to rescue this one. I appreciate that this team was held together to get all books in the series done, well done Audible.
This was meant to be a warp up for the Bean series and a fill in between Ender's Game & Speaker For The Dead...aparently everything needed wrapping up quickly & without substance and the was nothing of genuine note between the 2 novels.
As a huge fan of both the Ender & Bean series I was looking forward to the possibilities of how the two stories could be brought together, but so many opportunities were wasted, so many fantastic characters available and this book read like a seires of notes and scribbles that were later to be expanded upon into a novel.
The 1st 1/2 of the book was a reptetive retelling of details that were defined at length in other books and now were again detailed at length with no real addition to the story.
None of the new characters in this book were given the chance to be as interesting as most others in either of the series, I felt nothing for the people in the starship part of the book and 10 time less for those on the planet.
Sure everything was wrapped up... but wrapped up in a "cliff notes" fashion, Enders Nemesis Achille Jnr. was a Shadow of anything he had faced before and was just not convincing(in terms of ability and achievements) to be a worthy nemesis. Anything mentioned about his efforts, means and reasoning felt like "Cliff Notes" that had previously been used sparingly at the start or finish of a novel as wrap ups or explanations of situations facing the characters. Now they were used for everything.
A real poor effort on behalf of the author who seemed more interested in researching & correcting the time and event discrepencies of the other novels than writing a fitting conclusion, I genuinely expected more...
"Waste of Time and Money"
This program did nothing to assist the weight loss process. The only thing I lost was the money I spent to purchase this worthless scam and an hour every day for 2 months listening to it. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID!
