While in Paris on business, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon receives an urgent late-night phone call. The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum, a baffling cipher found near the body. As Langdon and gifted French cryptologist, Sophie Neveu, sort through the bizarre riddle, they are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Da Vinci, clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter.

    Jonas says: "Overall Good"
    "The Da Vinci Code"
    Overall

The book well written and you may like it. If you don't mind the
author rewritting history or just making it up. Then putting it out there as fact. But afther all it is fiction.
Also to enjoy this book you will need to think of the Bible As a work of fiction as the Author seem to do!

John Perry did two things on his 75th birthday. First, he visited his wife's grave. Then he joined the army. The good news is that humanity finally made it into interstellar space. The bad news is that planets fit to live on are scarce - and alien races willing to fight us for them are common. So, we fight, to defend Earth and to stake our own claim to planetary real estate. Far from Earth, the war has been going on for decades: brutal, bloody, unyielding.

Michael says: "As good as Heinlein"

Soon, Betsy becomes a participant in a power struggle between the forces of darkness. With only her friend Jessica and the hunky vampire Sinclair to help her, this new "Queen of Vampires" will have a tough time getting her afterlife straight.

Vanessa says: "Great Concept / Annoying Character"
    "Very enjoyable book"
    Overall

Very well written and very creative. But I would strongly not recommend this for the younger
    readers / listeners.
It has more than alittle sex and the author does go into more detail than I would be comfortable letting the younger crowd be exposed to.

All Dave Miller wanted to do was commit suicide in peace. He tried, but the things that happened after he'd pulled the trigger were all wrong. Like everyone standing around like statues. No St. Peter, no pearly gate, no pitchforks or halos. He might just as well have saved the bullet!

    Edward says: "Good story"

I kept asking my self 'WHERES THE PLOT".
While the book is very well written. It has little to no plot.
It's hard to believe this is the same author thats writing the "LOST FLEET" books.

Briar and Rosethorn are in ancient Chammur, where Briar gets involved in a war between street gangs at the same time that he ends up trying to train a young stone mage he has discovered. Intrigue, adventure, humor, nastiness, all set against a fascinating culture, this is classic Tamora Pierce.

    "Disappointed"
    Overall

The frist four books were outstanding. Both
as a writen work and as a audiobook.
I was very disappointed in this the fith book.
It was mostly done in the third preson narrative. Compare to the frist four book. which had lots more dialoge. With that said it's still a fair read/listen. Just don't expect them to be as good as the frist four. Or you too will be disapointed too.
