The book ending up being one that I couldnt stop listening too!!!! Of course Rosenblat was amazing (as usual). I never read anything from from the author so I really didnt know what to expect. The story line got kind of confusing..I found myself a bit lost in some points during the story and had to rewind a little. But the overall story was good. I wonder if some of the twist and turns presented in the story was taken out would it read "smoothier"...hmmm..anyway overall it really was good and I recommend it!
I recently discovered Brad Parks book good Cop at the library and have been hooked ever since! Carter Ross is so funny and a refreshing change from the norm. Macleod Andrews is the perfect narrator for the character. I've listen to all his book (this being the last) and think I'm going to have to buy the two that aren't on audio...LOVE LOVE!!
Im not sure how I feel about this book. I loved the first book Good in Bed and I love all the other books written by Jennifer Weiner but this one seemed a little..hmmmm..not sure the twist at the end seemed unnecessary. I really didnt like it.. I was trying to love it but didnt. The tragedy almost seemed to try to make the book interesting. I think i loved the first book because it didnt seem so much like the "big girl" whining book. But this one was so....boring...everyone in the book seemed annoying and just kind of thrown in. I was very disappointed I just wish I wouldve read it because some times the sequel makes you hate the entire series.
This was an awful read! The story line was bad and the narrator was bad! NOT worth the credit!
I love Carter Ross series of books! Brad Parks did a wonderful job with a mixture of humor and mystery but not in an unbelievable way! Also Macleod Andrews...a wonderful pick! I listened to my first book from the library now I want to download all!
I listen to carol O' Connell book Chalk girl and I loved it! But this wasnt so good I dont recommend at all!
I found myself rewinding this book because it was so hard to follow. The plot was weak. To me it didnt seem like a Finder books. I hated it!
I didn't like is the narrator she wasn't good at all. It was something about her changing to the male voice that was bad. The story line was typical-nothing really surprising. I don't think it was a great ideal to tell who the main kidnapper was so soon. I was hoping for some huge, great ending but no..it was kind of flat. I read the other comments-I didn't see what was so great or different about the story. I think a twist would have made this perfect.
I read most of Gardners books and what I love most the "element of surprise" she presents in her books. When reading her books I find myself trying to come up with the ending but with out doubt Im usually wrong..lol..which is a good thing. In The Neighbor you think you have the answer but by the end I sure you are wrong!
WOW! What a great read! I read a couple of comments that didn't give this book great reviews but i felt different. This book and you wondering till the end who was involved. I got this one wrong..lol..I couldn't figure who was the person involved and why. I love the twist and turns Gardner always delivers in her books and this one was not disappointing. An absolutely great read and I fully recommend!
I first discovered Lisa Lutz Spellmans books at the library. I was hooked from the start! She have the PERFECT narrator in Christina Moore. Like all the Spellman series this book was great!!!
