"Especially good fun"
I loved the strength of the main character. She wasn't taking anything lying down, and she was hilarious in her "nerdlike" mannerisms. She knew Klingon.
I anticipated what would happen, but that didn't stop me from loving every minute of the book.
She did a very good job on this one. She seemed comfortable with the characters. She didn't have to work to get the feel of them. She had it from the start.
I loved it. I laughed a lot. It was poingnant, but still fun.
Probably my favorite Nora Roberts book.
"It takes a while to get there, but when you do..!!"
The narrator was wonderful, like warm, silky milk chocolate on the tongue. The writing made me feel like I was listening to actual literature versus listening to a "bodice ripper". When you combine the two, it's a magical concoction.
When they finally made it to Florence. The seduction was magnificent. It took a very long time to get there though, but well worth the wait.
No, I haven't had the pleasure before, but I will certainly correct that momentarily.
Not at all. It's much too long for that, but that doesn't make it any less pleasurable.
I have just thoroughly been made love to. I'm not fit to drive, so I suppose I'll sit here for a while and reminisce.
"predictable"
It was ok, but not as exciting as many of her other works. Seemed to drag on and on at times. I knew pretty much what was going to happen the entire time.
absolutely. Some of my favorite books are written by Feehan.
none stand out, really. I guess the climax when they find out that there was more than one "beast". The way the women were portrayed... I think the thing I liked most was the older female was loved by her husband, even though she was a bit insecure about them.
It was just "okay"
not my favorite, but still pleasurable enough.
"Where's the 3rd story?"
Irish by Grace
When he was able to find the lost boy by going from location to location. Driving to the convenience store where they stopped with him during their kidnapping was a pretty good moment. Him recognizing his "Auntie" was another good moment. That was tense.
She did the voice changes pretty smoothly. Lots of enthusiasm and a good Irish brogue. I loved her Irish accent.
Never underestimate the power of an Irishman in love.
I commented mostly on the second story, but that's not to say the first isn't good. It was, but I thought she could have developed the male love interest a bit better. I wanted to want him more but he was just short of it somehow.
