This book went nowhere!! Depressing with no relief, disappointing beyond belief!!! A valuable lesson was learned, when reading reviews skip the first 15 and you will get the truth. Don’t waste your credit on this one!
I should get a gold start for finishing this book!! I love the repairman Jack character and storyline, however I just do not like the narration. he uses the same cadence for every character and draws out the last word in every sentence. I will pass on the next few and try the Dick Hill narrated books.
Simply horrible, wrong voice for this type of book and character! Need someone with a deeper voice!!!
Not good, not bad, missing character development. I could not find a character that i liked even the main. Not going buy another book in the series.
Once again Steven Pacey steals the show! Can't wait for another in the series to come out....More department Q please!!!
This is without a doubt the worst narration/performance I have listened to. I could only manage to listen for 15 minutes than had to turn it off. The narrator sounds like he has a head cold, mix that with his poor timing & horrible character voices and well….. It’s a disaster!! Avoid this book!!
The narration made this book unlistenable!! Very monotone, it felt like the narrator was reading a children's book!! Pass on this one.
One hour is all I could take. No character development, poor narration!!! PASSSSSSSS
I took a chance on this book and I'm glad I did. Perfect story & perfect narrator!!
I’m not sure if this was a bad book or bad reading making a decent book bad. Whatever the case I could only manage 5 chapters then deleted it of my IPhone. Horrible Horrible narration, I forced myself to push thru the 5 chapter but couldn’t take anymore. How can this be rated so high??????????????
The story good however, I just can’t get past the bad narration!!! The monotone delivery of Michael Kramer drives me insane & the same voice inflection at the end of every sentence. It sounds like he is gritting his teeth when doing the various character voices. The bar has been raised too high by Steven Pacey, Roy Dotrice and even Michael Page to spend time listening to this performance. A good narrator draws you into the world the author has created, with this book I feel like a automated weather station is reading to me.
