This was my fourth Kinsey Millhone audiobook and it just didn't live up to the other three. Like other reviewers have stated, I like the strong and saucy detective - but felt she was just along for the ride on this one. I kept wishing for some twist at the end either relating to the wedding or the receipt of a letter or gift from her Bonnie and Clyde.
I was happy to put on my rose colored shades and believe that the lead female character could really be that sheltered and naive. I enjoyed every moment of the story, especially the way she interacted with her boys and her offbeat sense of humor.
Glad this one was free. Seemed more like a long Penthouse letter than a story with an actual plot.
