If you've read Sherrilyns other dark hunter books, you'll be disapointed as this is taking everthing from them on Nick and putting it in one book, I had hoped it would pick up where his mom died but it doesn't

If you've never read Sherrilys Books and this is your first, you will love it, but for me where I've read all the others, it was a repeate and a disapointment it's everthing that was about Nick in her other books but just put into one.

I've listened to all the Mercy Series and this one doesn't disappoint, Its a good mixture of reality and fiction I hope there are many more to come.

Have always enjoyed Heather Graham and this book didn't dissapoint. If you like supernatural who done it books you'll love this one.

I never finished this book, 90% Raunchy sex and as of half way through book 1 it was nothing but raunchy sex no plot .

I don't mind some sex but I want the books I read to have 90% plot and 10 % sex left to the imagination.

If your looking for audio prono this is the book for you but not for me, will not buy another of the authors books, but the Narrator was good would love to listen to something else she narrates that has more plot.

story was ok, but narration could have been better-she was not the right voice for the job.

Might try one more with her as the narrator and hope she does better.

I think the First Part of the 3 part book could have been cut by about 3/4.

I had to skip most of the first part and you don't miss anything as in short it tells of the many times Acheron, his abuse over, and over, and over just by different people in his life.
It got good the last part of the second part where you learn how he gets Semi, (who I dearly love) and when he is now in modern day, and continues to be good in the 3rd part of the book.

I would say listen to the 1st section by listen,skip,listen,skip then when you get to the 2nd section read on and enjoy

Chapters 1 - 6 was good, then from 7 to about 23, I would say about 3/4, of it could have been left out, the book is to drawn out, to slow and the ending just left me bla, could not recommend this book

I felt like I was watching paint dry, so bad.
They could have taken out half of the book and it would have been better. I felt like I was blind and in a art gallery with some one describing a painting, which is bad for a book, then there is the doulble triple words such as blood, blood, blood, or Silver, silver, silver.

Don't waste your money.
