"From a Mac fanatic"
As a Mac fanatic I was anxious to read about the man who saved Apple. To understand the man who seemed to understand us, our need for a simple, elegant computer filed with the creative applications we creamed of. This is his story, not pretty at times but a tory of a perfectionist who would not be denied . A man who was often like an obnoxious child, demanding and rude, A genius.
I loved the book, the narration was wonderful. It's long and that's good, more to enjoy.
"Good book"
I enjoyed this book. The details of the great assassin's attempt to escape are fascinating. I thought I knew the story but I was wrong. The author tells it with care and compassion and the tragic figure of Booth becomes almost human.
"Nightmarish"
I tried not to read this book before going to bed. This holds some vicious and gruesome murder scenes. If any part of this is even half true, we are in big trouble. Way too grisly for me.
"an ending worth waiting for"
Parts of this book were so funny. The storyteller is flawless..
