    There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

    What made the experience of listening to 14 the most enjoyable?

    I loved the concept of the book. It had a great start and it was overall a good read.


    What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

    The ending was good. However some of the things that went on in the last part of the book were too strange for me. It was a bit "Out there"


    What about Ray Porter’s performance did you like?

    Great performance. I would listen to him again.

    I always know I will get a great story when Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child are the writers. I was on a long drive to Santa Fe, NM with my husband. and when we arrived, we wanted to stay in the car and listen to the end of the book. It was a great read!!!

    I am actually a big fan of the narrator, Scott Brick, so I took a chance at this one. I was captivated from the beginning until the end. I can understand how Mormons would not like this book, but for me, it was wildly informative. I have seen television programs on some of the subject matter and this brought a lot of it together for me.

    I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. A non-stop, exciting story with a surprise ending. I didn't want it to end. Scott Brick always is an added plus.
