"if you like F-bombs, buy this book :-/"
Not sure why some people think just because they can put F-bombs in books, that they have to put as many as they can.
Perhaps the author's vocabulary is just limited.
What a waste of 1 credit. I want my money back.
Disappointment. Wish book details would list things such as explicit language. Then I wouldn't waste money on books which have to rely on f-bombs and others to get through a story.
"Best Star Trek yet!"
Absolutely! This is one of my favorite books ever. I love the idea of looking at Star Trek from the beginning, when the Enterprise crew could have first met. Quinto's narration is exciting and emotional, two things that are not always present in Star Trek of the past.
The part of this book that stands out the most to me involves Spock and his relationship with his mother and the emotion that Quinto gives to the scene when Spock's mother dies.
I laughed over and over with things Kirk, in his cocky attitude, says to others, from the bar to the academy, and also with the way Bones responds to others. Best Star Trek yet.
"One of my favorites"
The different characters, especially Minny! Her sarcasm, her straight forward thoughts and responses, and some of the things she just says. I love the narrator who read the part of Minny!
"So much fun to listen to! I love Jane Lynch!"
Jane's infectious smile comes through in so many places in this book. Her reading makes me laugh throughout the entire book.
I loved hearing her talk about the different plays and shows she's been in, and how she got to where she is today.
"great read, imaginative lives of lovable bear!"
BlueBear was such a great character, he handled every adventure well, enjoying everything around him. I laughed many times, smiled at others.
Then towards the end he gets upset and throws out a g..d... - where in the world did that come from? SO UNNECESSARY in this book! Didn't fit the character at all. Very disappointed in that part. My overall view of the book went down after that.
