  • Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao

    • UNABRIDGED (9 hrs and 8 mins)
    • By Dr. Wayne W. Dyer
    • Narrated By Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

Five hundred years before the birth of Jesus, a God-realized being named Lao-tzu in ancient China dictated 81 verses, which are regarded by many as the ultimate commentary on the nature of our existence. The classic text of these 81 verses, called the Tao Te Ching or the Great Way, offers advice and guidance that is balanced, moral, spiritual, and always concerned with working for the good.

    L. Rickard says: "for life"
    "A must read!!"

This audiobook is my favorite of all the books I've listened to so far... which is a lot! I found Wayne Dyer's voice very pleasant to listen to, and the content is fabulous. The information is well presented. If everyone lived according to the way of the Tao, the world would be a better place. As a reader of Eckhart Tolle's A New Earth I think this book covers many of the same concepts in ANE, only in an easier to understand format.

  • Design Is a Job

    • UNABRIDGED (4 hrs and 35 mins)
    • By Mike Monteiro
    • Narrated By Mike Monteiro

Co-founder of Mule Design and raconteur Mike Monteiro wants to help you do your job better. From contracts to selling design, from working with clients to working with each other, this brief book is packed with knowledge you can't afford not to know.

Oliver says: "Brilliant, bright and extremely useful."
"Best book on design I've ever read!! A must read!"

I have been a "creative" for over 25 years. I love design I love creating from concept to production. I'd do it for free if I didn't have a family and household to support. I'm really really good at what I do but I have struggled mightily to make a consistent living doing it. This book was exactly the message I needed. It's a super easy listen packed with straight talk and fabulous actionable advice. I only wish I'd listened to it years ago!!

  • The Four Agreements

    • UNABRIDGED (2 hrs and 32 mins)
    • By don Miguel Ruiz
    • Narrated By Peter Coyote

In The Four Agreements, don Miguel Ruiz reveals the source of self-limiting beliefs that rob us of joy and create needless suffering. Based on ancient Toltec wisdom, the The Four Agreements offer a powerful code of conduct that can rapidly transform our lives to a new experience of freedom, true happiness, and love.

    Yvonne says: "Wonderful"
    "Life changing..."

I got this book on the recommendation of a friend and am absolutely thrilled that I did. If you can get through the first chapter which I found to be a little odd and confusing, the rest of the book is absolutely amazing. New ideas and concepts and by the end of the book the first chapter made complete sense.
If more people in the world would choose to live their lives according to the four agreements, I think the world would be a much better place.

My 10 year old daughter listened to this with me while traveling and still to this day talks about it and comes up with examples to explain concepts in this book! I highly recommend it!

  • It's Called Work for a Reason!: Your Success is Your Own Damn Fault

    • UNABRIDGED (5 hrs and 40 mins)
    • By Larry Winget
    • Narrated By Larry Winget
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Are you frustrated with a lack of results at work? Have you hit a wall? Are you uninspired, stuck in a rut, feeling underappreciated? Well, good news: your success is not up to your boss, your manager, your employees, or the economy. It's up to YOU. Business is never bad, people are just bad at being in business. If that makes you mad, this book is for you. Larry Winget hacks through the bad advice given in most business books.

Kurt says: "Take it with a grain of salt"
    "Wonderful book!"

This book should be required reading/listening for all employees, business owners and recent graduates. It is to the point, and really hits home. We are requiring all our employees to listen to this book and I am encouraging my nephew, who's graduating from high school this month to read it too. Definately worth the $$$.
