"Awesome listen."
I rented this book on my son's recommendation. He told me it was one of the books in his top ten list. I enjoyed this book and the narrators immensely. The story held me captive through out. I usually listen to audio books when I am walking or on the treadmill. I found myself listening to this book any chance I could.
"yawn"
This book was boring. It is the only audible book I did not finish.
"Taste of Summer."
I listened to this book, because both of my kids read each summer. Bradbury does a great job of capturing the feeling of summer. People of all ages can relate to the smell of cut grass, the taste of ice-cream on a hot day, catching fireflies, picking berries, and all the other typical events of summer. The vivid images in the book brought me close to the enjoyable summer days of my childhood. Dandelion Wine touches on some important aspects of life such as growing up and the reality of death. It was a good book, but at some parts it was difficult to remain interested. It would have been better if there was a little more organization and flow to the book. It was all over the place which at times made it hard to follow.
"Very intriguing."
I listening to this book on my son's recommendation. He said it was one of his favorite books. I loved it!
"Just what the doctor ordered."
This book is just what I was looking for. Great cast of characters. I love the story and the narrator is awesome!
"Very touching story."
I love the Mitford books, and this one is no exception. I find myself not even caring about how slow the traffic is when I'm listening.
"Loved this book"
I loved this story and I loved the story teller. It was a combo that made me not want to quit listening.
"dark"
Not sure why this is "the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" as she wasn't the main character. This story was dark and disturbing.
"Loved every minute of this book all 2,820 of them."
I Listened to this book every chance I got. Walking my dogs, riding in the car, walking on the treadmill........
A great, but tragic story of revenge.
Loved John Lee's narration.
"Loved it."
I loved listening to this book. Greg Wise is a great narrator.
