What did you love best about Mass Effect?

The storytelling was well paced and at times very gripping

Who was your favorite character and why?

Saren, A character driven by his own desires with little care of who tries to stop him

What does David Colacci bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The voices were very well done, I could tell each individual character he was speaking as without even hearing their name at the end of the sentence.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh at a few parts though its not exactly a happy tale. I did not cry either though I did pity a certain character that gets their legs blown off.

    Any additional comments?

Overall great story and a great addition to those of the mass effect series. If you haven't played the games then I doubt that you will enjoy it as much. But, nonetheless you could still give it a shot and I doubt you would regret the decision.

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

Would you consider the audio edition of Hounded to be better than the print version?

The narrator is spectacular and gives it even more life that the clever writing already had.

What other book might you compare Hounded to and why?

I really have no Idea what I might compare it to. It has a very unique feel to it that makes it seem like nothing that has been done before. No sappy teenage romance, No sulking pathetic protagonist.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Really any scene in which he has interaction with his dog were my favorites.

    Any additional comments?

Just an amazing book with great characters and a fascinating story. Somehow the author took old traditions in fantasy writing and made them feel fresh again. I love this so much I will definitely listen to it again.
