    Good characters and story


    What did you like best about this story?

    It took me to possible places and events not of our time and place.


    What about L J Ganser’s performance did you like?

    The story kept me interested througout most of the book.


    Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    No but I was interested throuhout most of the book up to where it ended non-difinitively (as many books do when authors want to leave a thread for the future.


    Any additional comments?

    For me it was well worth listening to.

It would take eight years for Taylor to heal completely.     Fascinating personal story


    Who was your favorite character and why?

    "Right brained" Jill. She saw life from the mystics side and gradually returned to the normal way of life without loosing what she learned.

    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    No, because I wanted to absorb what she learned about living from the right brain and how to minimize the left brain's dominance.

    Would you listen to Lost in Shangri-La again? Why?

    This was a great story and well told. I also liked all of the background on the people who were involved in the event that happened just before the end of WWII. I will admit that it was especially interesting to me because I am a pilot and because I spent a little time in that part of what was Dutch New Guinea, in the mid 90's. I love books like this one.
