Known by his alias, "Oliver Stone," John Carr is the most wanted man in America. With two pulls of the trigger, the men who destroyed Stone's life and kept him in the shadows were finally silenced. But his freedom comes at a steep price: The assassinations he carried out prompt the highest levels of the U.S. government to unleash a massive manhunt. Behind the scenes, master spy Macklin Hayes is playing a very personal game of cat and mouse. He, more than anyone, wants Stone dead.

    "Fast paced thriller"
    Overall

If you like fast paced suspense and plenty of tough guy action this is for you. John Carr is underground running from the Feds fighting his way out of trouble wherever he goes but with a big heart. He's just the kind of guy you'd like in your corner. This is an audio book that will keep you listening in your driveway.

Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life - steady boyfriend, close family - who has never been farther afield than her tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex-Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life - big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel - and now he's pretty sure he cannot live the way he is. Will is acerbic, moody, bossy - but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected.

What made the experience of listening to Me Before You the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed the intertwining of the two main characters. The high performing, successful, good looking businessman and the kind of quirky, uneducated working girl. It wasn't a match that would normally be made

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Louise had a great personality with a lot of heart. She really put it all out there.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    A contemporary romantic tragedy

    Any additional comments?

My wife loves romance, pain and suffering and this book has it all. But they manage to carry it off with a heavy dose of humor and fun. I found it amusing all the way through. Definitely a book for chicks but I liked it anyway.

    "Thoroughly engaging tale"
    Overall

It was hard to stop listening to this engaging tale of five generations of the Montrachet family, who have been separated by jealousy and anger. Told by beautiful Eliza, Nell and her grandaughter Cassandra, it's the unveiling of the mystery of how four year old Nell ends up alone on a ship from England to Australia, there to be brought up by strangers. Nell begins a new life in Australia but leaves her grandaughter, Cassandra, to piece back together the fascinating story of Nell's childhood and where they came from. An enchanting story well told.

You think you know about Islam. But, did you know that Islam teaches that Muslims must wage war to impose Islamic law on non-Muslim states, or that American Muslim groups are engaged in a huge cover-up of Islamic doctrine? These and other "politically incorrect" facts are revealed by Robert Spencer in The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades).

    "Too tedious"
    Overall

I started listening expecting to be somewhat entertained. However, the narration quickly turned into a drone and I lost interest. I even tried fast forwarding to different parts, hoping to get caught up but I couldn't. Maybe someone might be interested in listening to this but not me.
