I've read Terry Spear's books and they are great. The narrator ruined this one for me though.
No. She doesn't have a lot of emotion in her narration. It was hard to distinguish the characters. I felt like she barely paused, it was fast even after slowing it down. I found myself zoning out throughout the entire read. I've read the book version and it was much better.
Not if Maxine Lennon was involved.
A quality narrator can make a bad story good. With that said, a good story can be ruined by a bad narrator.
Someone who doesn't want a story, only ridiculous sexual innuendos and scenes. There was hardly any plot/story to this book.
He just wasn't that great
3/4 + of the scenes.
I still have an hour left but that is not enough time to redeem this story. I've read Mary Wine before and she's been great but this leaves A LOT to be desired. I wish I hadn't wasted my credit. Buyer BEWARE.
Yes. The story was great and Flosnik did a phenomenal job.
I loved that there were 3 possible love stories going on. I loved that Kraven stuttered!
She bring the story to life.
I was moved when everyone took credit for the marriage.
It's a great read. I initially thought that it would have too much going on but it flowed well.
I'd say it ranks in the top 10 for sure. It's a well written story with a great narrator.
Alaric was my favorite character. I liked him because he was a real man. He marched to a beat of his on tune despite what others thought of him. He was logical and fair and of course sexy!
No this is my first but I'd love to hear more from him. He was awesome.
YES. I purchased this book @ 10am this morning and I'm already done.
More Tanya Anne Crosby on audio book please!
The story is full of Highlanders, magic, mystery and of course romance. James and Catriona were a fantastic couple and they had a great supporting cast of characters. My favorite character had to be the old dogs of James and Alasdair. I enjoyed the scowls, muttered oaths, dark looks, fisted hands on hips from James. He was a gruff one and I enjoyed every bit of it. Also, Sue-Ellen Welfonder is a fantastic author and her stories have a way of drawing the reader (or listener) in. The narrator, Jill Tanner was awesome as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. My only disappointment is that the other two books are not on audiobook.
The battle scene (I can not to go into detail without giving spoilers).
When James was in the hall giving his speech and Catriona walked in and threw down the gauntlet.
YES. I listened to it in less than a day.
MORE SUE-ELLEN WELFONDER PLEASE!!!
If it was not preinstalled to my account.
If it is not pre-installed, yes.
If I'd been given the choice to download the book instead of having it forced upon me.
All of them.
Why would you pre-install a book into our accounts? It's one thing to offer it but to shove it down our throats. I will consider fixing my rating once this book can be deleted.
