This story covered many miles and never a dull moment. The narrator did a lovely job with many accents and intonations. Learned alot of geography as I was rivited to the story.
The personalities of this story were well written...I may have hated some but I understood why.
I would enjoy being as smart as Marg...and as kind.
Listen to this when you have a time consumming job to do and time will fly!
I have read other books set in this time and environment, example " The People of the Book" and learned new things as well as enjoyed the story. This book started with an interesting concept and quickly went down hill. The characters felt shallow to me and the story became repetitive. I finished it hoping it would somehow redeem itself but I was disappointed.
As always Dan Brown is fun to listen to but his hero is getting way over the human level...definitely into the realm of Super Hero status.
They're all outlandish fluff. Good for listening while gardening but not worth reading
Paul Michael saves this book. I always enjoy his performances.
Not a thing but laugh at many of the situations.
I thought this would be sappie but discovered a well crafted book. I'm a dog lover and owner so I'm not an impatial judge, my dogs have always been a major part of my life, but this book was interesting with very good plot develipment. The majority of the time I was smiling but there was a need for tear wipping so be prepared.
I didn't see the movie and the book didn't have a real draw for me. I loved it from start to finish!! On top of a great story, wonderful writing and characters who were so real to me, the narrator is excellent. Fun book.
This book was sugested to me by my son. The premis sounds morbid but I enjoyed every minute. I now want to listen to all of her books.
