Now that the werewolves have revealed themselves to humans, they can't afford any bad publicity. Infractions that could have been overlooked in the past must now be punished, and the strain of doing his father's dirty work is taking a toll on Charles. Nevertheless, Charles and Anna are sent to Boston when the FBI requests the pack's help on a local serial killer case. They quickly realize that not only the last two victims were werewolves - all of them were.

    Story
What made the experience of listening to Fair Game the most enjoyable?

Great handling of the characters made it easy to follow. While I like reading the story, I often get a lot more listening, especially with a good narrator.

What did you like best about this story?

This is the best of the Alpha-Omega series so far. It's also a great lead-in for the next Mercy book...what an ending. Just sorry we have to wait a year! :(

What does Holter Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Shows dimensions of the characters that are not easily noted in a quick read of the book. When I go back and read the story after listening, while I don't always agree with something, I can see the interpretation Holter has brought to the book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I read it all in one sitting. However, I listen to it over several sittings so I don't fall asleep and miss something.

    Any additional comments?

Loved this book. Can't wait for the next in the Mercy series.

With her phenomenal Mage Winds trilogy, bestselling author Mercedes Lackey captivated fans across the country. Now in the first volume of the series sequel, she continues the same storyline, returning readers to a war-torn Valdemar in preparation to confront an ancient Eastern Empire - ruled by a monarch whose magical tactics by be beyond any sorcery known to the western kingdoms.

    Story
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

This was a book I read years ago when first published. I loved the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Karal. A young man poised for great things who has normal concerns.

What didn’t you like about David Ledoux’s performance?

He made an exciting book almost boring!

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    Absolutely!

    Any additional comments?

    Get a different narrator!
