I thought I would try one of Sparks books but - should have went with my first instinct. I don't care for his story telling - his books are always so depressing.
After reading Deeper - I was leery about how the story would go as Deeper left me very sad. Hart's stories are a lot like Nicholas Sparks - his storylines have real tragedy. The ending was much better than Deeper. I will continue to read Hart, where I won't read Sparks anymore. When I look to romance I prefer stories that have less sad. Worth the time. I plan on getting Naked next month.
Great story, a Sad Story. You will enjoy it - it has an unexpected ending.
This was definitely a typical NR Romance-Suspense, although she does better with JD Robb's stories she has delivered again. If you liked this one you'll like Black Hills too - same type of story. I like where she is going with the story line - it makes for better reading. Something to offer rather than the same old romance..boy meets girl - girl hates boy - boy changes girls mind - girl like boy and keeps him. NR puts boy and girl together because of trouble. I think she achieved what she wanted -- it is entertaining and takes you away for awhile. Some of the other reviewers said, if you love dogs - you'll like this story. I am not much of a dog lover but I liked this book.
I loved this story. I have not read Briggs before. She tells a great story. Of course it could also be that Holter Graham is the narrator. I love most his voice.
Okay I love all the JD Robb books - these audiobooks are not worth it though. Nora uses Susan Eriksen for alot her books, she did a great job with the Key books but does not do Dallas and Roarke's voices very well. Peabody is from Arizona - but Susan uses a Boston or New York accent for her. She just does not do JD Robb books justice. I was very disappointed because I would have bought all the of the audiobooks as I did with the actual books. Again Susan was not a good choice for this series.
This is the first Kelley Armstrong Book I've read -I found it entertaining and she puts a different spin on the werewolf history. I enjoyed the narrator as well. I listened to the samples from Armstong's other Audible books but opted not to download them because I didn't care for the narrator's voice. I think the narrator will make or break an audible book. I recommend this one.
I loved Nobody's Baby But Mine and knew this book would be every bit as good. I wasn't disappointed. It has some humor but will pull at your heart too. I found the first time I listened to this - I went through a whole box of kleenex. I love the characters. I highly recommend if you want to hear see what happens to the Bonners after Cal and Jane's story.
This story is hilarious - so funny that it will have you rolling on the floor and crying. Anna Fields is one to the best narrators that Audible uses.
