Dick Morris hits the nail on the head (over and over and over again) in this captivating book that's pretty predictable for the most part, but very informative and enlightening.
I really enjoyed it, and even though I'm a registered Democrat, I just couldn't bring myself to vote for Obama because his promises made on the campaign trial were just "too good to be true" and I just felt that there was no way that they could be fulfilled with our economy needing the attention that it needed.
Great book and I would highly recommend it to anyone on both sides of the political aisle. Maybe we can all see more clearly now the direction that our country needs to take moving forward.
Coach Wooden was a man who was truly ahead of his time in so many ways!
He not only was a "great maker of men and young people", he was a visionary and someone who "walked the walk and talk the talk".
They don't come along very often like Coach Wooden.... we can all learn some valuable lessons on life from Coach!
I have read many books on China and the fact that they are poised to be the next economic superpower in the coming (if not currently) years.
I agree, and unless America gets "it's house in order" soon, we'll be so indebted to China that it won't be the least bit fun for us.
Great book and stayed tuned to China!
I have read several books lately on China and it's oncoming economic might. It's true, and this book does a really good job helping us to understand that.
This is one of the best books and overviews of the distressing state of our boys and young men in this country. There's a lot of work to do, but there are solutions, and this books offers up some great ones!
We need to take it seriously how our young men are losing ground and that something has to be done!
I highly recommend this book!
I'm a "political junky" at this point in my life and I really enjoyed reading this book by David Horowitz.
He make sit easy reading by breaking down the various aspects of the political landscape that we all face.
Enjoy a good read and have a good time... then get active and make a difference!
I have had quite a bit of experience in the areas of sex and sensuality, but in reading this book, I realized that I really know very little in what it takes to pleasure my partner.
Wow... what an "eye opener"!!!
A great book and a must read for anyone even remotely interested in learning a few more things in regards to pleasing your partner!
As a person of Christian faith, I thought that I had it in me to be forgiving and full of faith, but I don't think I can hold a candle to the Amish.
Wow... I admire my Amish Brothers and Sisters in their ability to maintain such a focus and faith. I know that they are not perfect, but if we could adopt just a few more aspects and disciplines of the Amish faith, this world could be such a better place!!!
A very good read!!!
I enjoyed reading The Age of Empathy because it really hit home with me since I am a vegetarian and it was an "easy leap" to understand the empathy and compassion of animals and how it can easily apply to humans.
I think there is a lot to learn here in this very good read!!!
I thought that Greene's book on the 48 Laws of Power really laid out an easy to follow pathway of understanding how much power we all have and how to best use it to our benefit while at the same time creating mutually beneficial relationships. I don;t know if most people will feel comfortable in implementing a lot of the techniques because it does call for some sacrifice and courage, but it people are willing, they can have so much more power about themselves and find themselves enjoying a more enjoyable life.
Power is not a bad thing if it improves the quality of ones life and the lives of others along the way.
I really enjoyed reading it.
There are few books that really have the ability to take hold of you and say "this is the way to go". Dyer gives such a commanding presentation in his book that can be helpful to anyone who wants to take a few extra steps to make their lives all that much more fulfilling.
Dyer doesn't come across all "preachy" but instead has a "conversation" with his audience in a way that makes you feel that you can do the things necessary to help make you life even better!
A wonderful read and I'd recommend it to everyone!
