Doctor Impossible, evil genius and diabolical scientist, has tried to take over the world in every way imaginable, but this time is going to be different. He'll have to contend with Fatale, however, a rookie superhero on her first day with the Champions, the world's most famous superteam. She's a patchwork woman of skin and chrome, a gleaming technological marvel built for the next generation of warfare.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

There was a lot of potential, but the story seemed a little flat. I was waiting for something more, and it never materialized.

  • Ready Player One

At once wildly original and stuffed with irresistible nostalgia, Ready Player One is a spectacularly genre-busting, ambitious, and charming debut—part quest novel, part love story, and part virtual space opera set in a universe where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots, entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner, and flying DeLoreans achieve light speed.

What does Wil Wheaton bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Knowing how much if a geek Wil Wheaton is (his autobiography is CALLED "Just a Geek") makes his reading of this book so much more appropriate. And he is a fantastic narator... the whole time, I was picturing a 18 year old Wil in all of the scenes.

    Any additional comments?

Perfect for fans of the 80's, video game nerds of all generations, and general geeks everywhere!
