Have you ever felt that your life was guided by larger forces? Unseen but very real energies that influence every direction your life takes? In her renowned work as a medical intuitive, Caroline Myss examined the patterns of hundreds of archetypes that exist in human consciousness, and found that each of us has a "sacred support team" of 12 primary archetypes. Once identified, these archetypes allow you to discover your highest purpose, what she calls your "Sacred Contract".

What disappointed you about The Language of Archetypes?

I hope my review helps even 1 person to avoid this book...I have listened to well over 100 audible books most in the personal growth genre and I can honestly say this is the most closed minded of any book I've read - and the irony is, she's trying to sell personal awareness and growth - unforuntately, it's the opposite. The author completely stereotypes everyone and basically says that you will stay the way you are forever and you're stuck within 12 archetypes - oh, and how does she come up with 12 - why "12" is an archetype itself, "12 apostles, 12 hours in the day"...uhm, yeah, last I checked there are 24 hours in a day...take a pass on this book and the author if you're even slightly looking for a spirtual jouney.
