"And the Doctor saves the world again!"
Doctor Who: Blackout is a great episode. Like all the crazy adventures the Doctor has, this one brings excitement to an hour of listening pleasure.
The different voices that Stuaret Milligan can achieve brings the storyline to life. He brings stronger characters to the front, leading the listener through the tornado of a storyline.
"A great book to sleep through."
The Narrator had a mono-tone that truly aides in sleep. It felt like the story didn't want to go anywhere, circling the same character/idea and not taking them anywhere.
"Compulsion created no cumpulsion for me."
I am a big Jonathan Kellerman fan but this book could not hold my interest. It started off with action but took several chapters to tie the action into the story. I had to force myself to finish. Telling myself it would get better.
"Cornwell Does it Again, Almost"
This book ranks around 15 out of 25. The story was a little slow, and there was a lot of extemporaneous information given. If you could edit out the "dead wood" you would have a much more riveting storyline.
Kay Scarpetta herself. She is the whole reason I read her adventures. Her thought processes and willingness to act keep me coming back for more.
Kate Reading brings the characters to life. I will definitely look for more of her work.
"A Breath of Snow & Ashes is a breath of fresh air!"
This is the best of the series so far!
Davina Porter is Claire. She brings this story to the listener in vivid color.
"The best of the series to date!"
Davina Porter brings this world to life. Diana Gabaldon has created a rich and inviting world and Ms. Porter, the color that gives it life. I look forward to the time of day when I can turn the book on and sit back to llisten.
