"Best read of the year for me."
I like both the audio and the print the same.
I loved connecting with the characters -- I felt like I knew them!
He portrays the personality of the story well.
I told everyone around me that they MUST read the book, and told of how precious the storyline is.
This book is a definite stocking stuffer. I want to have this kind of relationship with my own children in my waning years. I also now want to read all the books from Mary Anne and Will's booklist.
"Great story!"
I loved the connection to the Midwest rural lifestyle. Many of our families are separated when rural America doesn't accept our kids.
Melanie, of course, was my favorite. Her journey through adolescence and young adulthood was so familiar to all of us.
I didn't have any extreme reactions. I have a child who is gay, who has fewer complications in city living than with us in the Midwest. We love him like we love our own lives, and can't imagine treating him any differently than any other members of our family.
I would suggest this book to others who want to learn to love.
"Fascinating and motivating to read."
I liked the author's motivation for writing, and I enjoyed the unexpected outcomes of his research.
I found some new energy for teaching.
I liked the school administrators.
No.
I have talked about this book a lot with my colleagues.
"Great read."
I wanted to run the whole time I was reading the book!

I was reminded of the runner's heritage because of the audio, and more keen to the cultural differences.
Run, Forrest, run!
I've told all of my friends about this book.
"Great read!"
I loved that the story was realistic, and that it wasn't full of sex.
I don't usually read love stories -- I'm not sure.
He did OK.
Thibault -- I loved his gentle and patient personality.
"Robert Langdon needs to come back!"
It ranks toward the top! I can't wait to get plugged into my headphones with Dan Brown's writing.
I enjoyed the end, because of Brown's habit of keeping something hidden until the very end.
not sure
No -- I needed time away from it once in awhile, but couldn't wait to find out what each chapter was going to reveal.
Dan Brown is my new favorite author.
"Best fiction I've ever read!"
The narrator is exceptional in his presentation, and the story line is personal!
I loved the ongoing drama, and the hope of justice.
Simon's ability to make the characters recognizable was unmatched. I never felt like I was listening to a narrator.
I couldn't wait to get to each next book. At the end of the third book, I found myself wondering who was going to pick up where he left off, or start a side story about the characters. I also was calculating the whole time about how Liz and Mikal could just find each other!
Great read! I owe my co-teacher a huge thanks for suggesting this to me. I was attached to my headphones ALL the time.
"This book changed my life."
I am making sure that I give this book to everyone who will listen.
I appreciated the scientific information, and also the dry sense of humor that accompanied the science.
I have not listened to any of Tom Weiner's performances.
The candid beginning that blatantly called fat by it's monikers -- wheat belly, bagel butt, and biscuit face -- was spot on.
This book has brought me back to what I always knew and used to practice: having a relationship with my body, and nurturing that relationship.
"Great read!"
I love the inspiration I felt after reading her story.
I recently read
I have not.
I wanted to share it right away with my friends.
I enjoy memoirs.
