During the trial of O. J. Simpson, the press focused on him. Now the victim, Nicole Brown Simpson, speaks through this private diary of her occasional roommate and constant best friend, Faye D. Resnick. Referred to by the media as the "mystery woman" who disappeared before the trial, Faye spoke to Nicole only one hour before her death.

    Story

This book was written for no reason other than to make Ms. Resnick a little money and drag her poor unfortunate friend through the mud. Nicole's family and children did not need to hear any details of Nicole sex life or details of what she "liked" to do. What a loser you are Resnick. You were not telling anything of any value nor did you add anything that we didn't already know about Nicole's murderer. This private diary should have been left private.
    Shame on you.

Across the country women are being murdered by a killer who leaves no evidence, no fatal wounds, no signs of struggle, and no clues to a motive. They are, truly, perfect crimes. In fact, the only thing that links the victims is the man they all knew: Jack Reacher.

It seems like the story was weak and fluffed up . The plot wasn't that great and the punchline was weaker. Seems to be something that was written without much thought. Dissappointed....hope the next is better.

It is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn't doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media - as well as Amy's fiercely doting parents - the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter - but is he really a killer?

The story begins in 1962. On a rocky patch of the sun-drenched Italian coastline, a young innkeeper, chest-deep in daydreams, looks out over the incandescent waters of the Ligurian Sea and spies an apparition: a tall, thin woman, a vision in white, approaching him on a boat. She is an actress, he soon learns, an American starlet, and she is dying. And the story begins again today, half a world away, when an elderly Italian man shows up on a movie studio's back lot - searching for the mysterious woman he last saw at his hotel decades earlier.

Van Harder, once a hard drinker, has found religion. But that doesn't keep folks from saying he murdered his employer, Hub Lawless, whose body hasn't been found. To clear his name, and clear up the mystery, Van asks friend-in-need Travis McGee to find out what really happened.
