"Thought provoking, ever after Getting Real"
Even though I read Getting Real, a previous book by David and Jason, some 4 times, Rework is definitely thought provoking and inspiring. I do not agree on all topics, and some of them apply only to software industry, but the time definitely has come to "rework work". Or at least re-think what is possible with modern technology, and why people would even care about some mainstream ideas and ways of doing business originating in 18th century.
What is especially valuable is that this book is written from personal experience and perspective. If you ever thought of starting a company, Rework will be useful for you.
"I personally enjoyed it"
I personally enjoyed it. It offers a perspective that helps listener to understand complex personality of one of the most remarkable people (in the Western society anyway) of our time.
"A very interesting book about nature of happiness"
A very interesting book that explains why people may feel happy or unhappy. I liked examples author uses to explain each of his points, especially cognitive biases. Frankly, after hearing this certain thing that worried me went away, because now I understand what goes on "under the covers" in my brain. To me, it was totally worth time & money, and deserves 5 stars.
"A classic"
I've read this book before, but it was worth listening again. A classic.
"Worked well for me"
Pimsleur (from my experience) is the best audio course you can find.
"Worth the time (and money)"
Whether you like Mr. Obama or not, this book explains modern age techniques that got him into president seat. Other people can apply them beyond business: to their personal development, too.
