They soar through the night, unearthly creatures of legends and lore. Three masters of urban fantasy and paranormal romance explore the rapture of the heavens above, and the darkness below in three all-new stories of angels and guardians, and good and evil. Bestselling author Nalini Singh returns to her Guild Hunter universe to tell the story of vampire Noel, and Sharon Shinn returns to her Samaria series to tell the story of a blind angel and the woman helps him---even though she hates and fears angels.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I am not sure if any of the authors' fans would enjoy these stories.

What could the authors have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The authors could have written these stories on par with their more popular series/stories.

Did Justine Eyre and Coleen Marlo do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Yes the only saving grace for these mediocre stories were the good narrations by Justine Eyre and Coleen Marlo. However, the narrators can only do so much when the actual given material is not good.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    Disappointment.

What a disappointment. Don't waste your time or credit. If you are looking for an entertainment read that has some semblance of intelligence then this is not it!!

In This Changes Everything Naomi Klein argues that climate change isn’t just another issue to be neatly filed between taxes and health care. It’s an alarm that calls us to fix an economic system that is already failing us in many ways. Klein meticulously builds the case for how massively reducing our greenhouse emissions is our best chance to simultaneously reduce gaping inequalities, re-imagine our broken democracies, and rebuild our gutted local economies.

This is a must read book for anyone who cares about the environment, social justice and the future of our world. One of the best if not the best book of 2014.

Born of a match between good and evil, four siblings stand between hell's minions and everything they want to destroy. They are the Lords of Deliverance, and they have the power to ward off Doomsday... or let it ride.... Jillian Cardiff came to this remote mountain town to forget the demon attack that almost killed her. Instead, she rescues - and falls for - a gorgeous stranger who has no memory of anything other than his name. Handsome, charming, and protective, Reseph seems like the kind of man whom Jillian can trust.

The story is good but the narrator is just awful. She simply reads the text as if it is a technical manual! In fact I have hread technical manual or meeting presentations to be read with more feeling than she reads this story!

It has been a busy few weeks for Private Kaylin Neva. In between angling for a promotion, sharing her room with the last living female Dragon, and dealing with more refugees than anyone knew what to do with, the unusual egg she'd been given began to hatch. Actually, that turned out to be lucky, because it absorbed the energy from the bomb that went off in her quarters. So now might be the perfect time to leave Elantra and journey to the West March with the Barrani. If not for the disappearances of citizens in the fief of Tiamaris - disappearances traced to the very Barrani Kaylin is about to be traveling with....
