"Beautifully written"
I listened to this book the week leading up to Christmas and I have to say, I could not have picked a better time. It really made me think... it reminded me, as I sat in bumper-to-bumper traffic due to holiday shopping, just what the holidays are REALLY about. As good as Tuesdays with Morrie was, the time you'll spend here with "The Reb" will touch your heart and never let go.
I've read everything Mitch Albom has ever written and this is, by far, my favorite!
"This was one of my FAVORITE'S by King"
This is HIGHLY recommended! I haven't read Stephen King in quite a while and boy am I happy I came back for this one.
the book is fantastic and John Slattery is PERFECT! It's the first time that I've listened to anything that he's read, but it certainly won't be the last!!!
This book is long (so what else is new, it's Stephen King!) but it's great. Really, really great!
"Susan Ericksen Rules"
Listen to anything that she reads! She's amazing!
The book was good... funny at parts, REALLY funny at other parts!
I enjoyed it! A nice "fluff" book for when I just don't feel like remembering names or dates or trying to figure out who the killer might be!
"Stephanie Plum ROCKS!"
I LOVE the Stephanie Plum series - although, I must admit, nobody reads them better than CJ Critt!! Lorelei King has a pleasant enough voice, but I first listened to the "Full" series and so to me she will always be the voice of Jamie Swift.
That said... this book was very cute - a perfect quickie for the holiday season. The regular characters are all there and, perfectly befitting Janet Evanovich, some new and equally amusing characters have been thrown into the mix.
They're all fun and are certain to make you laugh.
Janet Evanovich is one of my favorites. I listen to her books whenever I just want to smile. Call me crazy, but Stephanie Plum has become my favorite carpool buddy! ha ha
