"if you don't know pratchett this is where to start"
and wonderful rich story, with wellrounded characters and a humor that you can only appriciate and wonder at anyone ever thinking up
i will not ruin the moment for you, just remember when i say
Nigel is a wellrounded reader and his performance is always stellar...
i've listened to more than one book simply because he was the one reading it
there already IS a movie based on this book...
"somewhat confusing..."
i found this perticular story to be quite confusing, but i admit that it might be because it took me a long time to get through the book and i only got to listen to it for short amounts of time at any given time so that might be why i had trouble following the story
i've read or listened to almost all of his books so indeed yes :)
Nigel has a good strong voice that i never get annoyed with or tired of listening to
no, but like i said, that might be due to real life making me unable to follow my usual listening habits
"the past is haunting"
Entertaining, exciting, enthralling
Jane, her development in the book is quite remarkable
the barscene
the bitch is back
"Jane is back and she is kicking ass"
i haven't read the print version, but for some time i've actually prefered the audio version over the print version of books assuming they are read by someone i enjoy listening to ofcause
i can't tell without spoilering
her voice is amazing and her ability to let her voice set each character apart is quite spetacular i think...
the bitch is back
"she does it again"
entertaining, exciting, entrancing
Bruiser, you know why :)
her voice does amazing things for the characters and bringing them to life, what keeps amazing me the most is her ability to put different inflections on different characters so you can tell them apart just by her voice even if the text weren't obvious as to who is speaking
it is indeed if ever i had the time...
"Shift to ready"
the familiarity with the characters and the enjoyment of seeing them go on, learn more about themselves and how they grow from what they were
Rick, a stoic man doing his duty and enduring no end of unfair abuse thrown at him by the world...
she is as amazing as ever, it was in fact her performance on another series that made me give this one a chance
several times i laughed out loud
"yet again"
hard to say, how can you really choose among Prathcetts books??
i for one can't rank them meaning i have about 40 books sharing first place :)
Dodger, because of his innocence and how it is used to further the storyline
i've always been a fan of Steven Briggs and he doesn't let me down this time either...
he is just a overall amazing reader
yes, though i doubt i have the time to do so...
"Ms. Mead Does it again"
because the story is as amazing as the previous ones both in the bloodline series and in her other works...
how the characters evolve both in relation to each other and personally
i can't tell without spoilering
i was wearing a big smirk along with my headphones in public several times :)
"Prefect mix"
How we got to know the supporting characters from the last books of VA much better, their motives, their thoughts and reactions...
once i've read the next book in this series i think i might need to go back and read VA again to enjoy my knew knowledge to the fullest
Sydney, reluctant to act as ever, but now we are learning why this is...
Emily performed so stellar that i am unable to find one performance that stood out simply because it all was so awesome
there was a lull in the middle, but it was appropiate and i didn't mind, but it did mean i wouldn't hear it all in one sitting...
also 12½ hours is a long time :)
be careful with this Narrator....
she performes so well i've actually considered buying other books merely to hear more of her voice
"Loosing interest"
well the story have slowly been getting less interesting over the last couple of books...
probably because it's been getting more predictable as P.C. Cast have lock herself into several storylines and now she doesn't feel like starting others till these are finishing up...
unfourtunately i saw it coming from about the middle of the books
unfourtunately i've listened to a different narrator of previous books in the series which means this just isn't the same
not really...
not anything i didn't start thinking from the previous books atleast...
good entertainment for the money and i wouldn't stop reading the series even though it's slowed down with this one...
