Kelly Maloy opens her car door to much more than a great looking stranger at the Houston airport. Terror, desire, and a horrible truth climb in with him. She's only supposed to drive Ty Endeka around the city for a few weeks. Too bad no one tells her that once day fades she'll become part of a battle fought in the darkened streets with an enemy that isn't human. And the sensual man who feeds her fantasies hides a soul that gives new meaning to animal magnetism.

I thought this had everything - a great paranormal/romance plot filled with 11 sexy handsome Gods of Night that can transform into ...... wait for it...... dinosaurs, yes I know that sounds a bit "oh yea?" but give them a chance and they'll have you routing for them. Against them are 9 evil blood thirsty entities that want to bring the destruction of the civilised world for their own goals and each book deals with the annihilation of one of them at a time.

Werewolves, Vampires, Shapeshifters, Sourcerers and more, are all entwined and seemlessly blended into this brilliant new series and, along with them, is the instant attraction between the two main characters - Ty (short for Tyrannosaurs Rex) and Kelly, his human driver, and their growing love despite their obvious differences. Can love conquer all and at what price? Lots of questions yet to be answered as the plot develops further and grows.

My only criticisms are that the sex scenes could have hotter and the narrator was dreadful and totally let the book down. I found it hard to follow who was talking and was that the person thinking or talking out loud so please please please Publishers get another narrator that will make this book a 5 star rating for all 3 categories.

Worth a credit? Oh yes, despite the narrator, I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to listen to the 2nd in the series and, if you like the sound of the above, then you will be too.

Only one man and one woman can stop the world from burning in this thrilling final volume in Lisa Marie Rice’s sexy Ghost Ops series, in which an elite super-secret military team must face down doomsday and protect the gifted women they love. Haven, a community of misfits and geniuses, is one of the few safe places remaining in a world on fire.

I loved the other two books in this series and was so looking forward to this final book but sadly it was more of a pop than a bang of a finale.

Instant sex (literally), instant love, a race against time to get the vaccine to Haven, a few dramatic encounters with 'the infected' and a wrap it all up in a 'they all lived HEA' of an Epilogue ending.

Worth a credit? I didn't really feel any chemistry between the H/H, the build-up to the romance was totally missing and, although there were sex scenes, it failed to ignite any passion. I wanted to see how things ended for the men of the Ghost Ops but unfortunately I feel I wasted a credit on this. The Narration was good but, IMHO, even that didn't save it.

I love fantasy and romance but it took me a little while to get into this story however, once I did I was totally hooked....

Hooked on the well-written, imaginative and original plot that seamlessly transports you backwards and forwards between the 21st and 14th Centuries with ease. Hooked at the fast-paced action and dialogue which held witty gems and funny scenes. Hooked at the emotions it brought out in me as a dying Nedy is given another chance at life in the arms of her Knight in the ever changing past. Hooked with Fulke, a Hero that wasn't handsome or perfect but rather he was a Knight that was scarred both inside and out but he was honourable, morally good, loyal, loving and he had character which made him just perfect.

And finally, I was hooked with the romance that slowly developed between two people that started off as enemies but eventually, through many disasters, grew into one of trust and a deep love and respect for each other that encompassed 600 years. One that led to an Epilogue that perfectly concluded their love story and ended a book that was packed full of questions, dilemmas, twists, action, heartbreak, tension, great characters, a mysterious villain, tragedy and a bitter-sweet romance.

Worth a credit? It played out in my mind like a film and what a great film it would be.... so YES it's creditworthy. Narration was good. There was touching, tender scenes with kissing but absolutely no sex.

Greyson King. My boyfriend. My friend. My protector. He's the reason I wake up every morning with a smile on my face, and the reason I fall asleep limp, worn out, and aching for his warm arms around me. When we make love, he says my name like it means something. Like I mean something. He lied. His name is Greyson King, but his alias is Zero. It's now 3.30 am as I write this Review having just finished this exhausting, but oh so enjoyable, listen as it had my pulse pounding for most of the all consuming story which I just HAD TO, yes HAD TO finish before I had any chance of sleeping. There's sweet, raw, passionate, erotic, nail-biting and very romantic scenes as well as a very well described and developed plot that resulted in many enjoyable drama filled hours of listening.

As a hopeless romantic, Melanie was searching for her perfect Prince but instead she got a handsome bad boy King.... Greyson King is dark, sexy, secretive, possessive, jealous, sensual and very loving but she kept wondering why he kept going missing and why he was becoming more illusive. Greyson has been captivated by Melanie since he first saw her and now he's tasted her he just can't let her go but he's hiding terrible secrets that will devastate Melanie and someone's waiting in the wings ready to settle a score with Greyson which has heartbreaking consequences for them both.

Worth a credit? This listen had me sighing with delight at the romance, captivated by a damaged Hero, on the edge of my seat with all the action and drama, shedding tears for all the heartache and finally bursting with joy at the beautiful ending to their love story that had survived despite everything. So, YES a creditworthy addition to a powerful series and I hope KE will keep em coming so I can get my next fix involving these very lickable, loveable and loving Alphas.

Right from the start this listen captured my imagination while Xavier captured my heart…. sitting in Economy aboard a plane that will hopefully whisk her away from overbearing religious parents and an unwanted marriage, shy timid Anna locks eyes with a stunning, sexy, drool-worthy man as he prepares to sit in First Class. She doesn't know it but he's a famous Wrestler and he's about to rock her world.

Although he says he's the villain in this story Xavier comes across as protective, sweet, thoughtful, kind and loving to Anna and when their off the charts sizzling chemistry moves them from the 'friends' category into the 'lovers' category then things really heat up with jealousy and possessiveness also joining his list of traits. He's damaged and haunted by his past and terrified of losing his beautiful innocent Anna and will do anything to stop that from happening…… but the one he should fear most is himself.

Worth a credit? Oh YES, what an awesome sexy start to a new series that will be an auto download for me but hopefully they won't have quite such an epic cliffhanger as this one did which left me pulling my hair out while screaming "NO NO NO OMG NO NO NO !!!"

Shane MacKade enjoyed everything about women - the look of them, the smell of them, the taste of them. So the last thing he expected was to become a one-woman man. And even more surprising is that it's the Ph.D.-toting academic Rebecca McKnight who has him headed for a fall. Could Shane's days as a bachelor be coming to an end?

As the only single and youngest of the MacKade brothers is finally hit over the head by Cupid's Bow he becomes lost. As Shane, the once happy-go-lucky handsome ladies man, is unusually out of his depth, frustrated, angry, lust filled and his emotions are tied up in knots when he meets the skinny, nerdy, frustrating, brilliant at everything but cooking Academic called Rebecca.

This was lol funny, very entertaining, was so richly detailed, had very light sex scenes, there was the usual cast of MacKades and their ever growing families and a passionate romance that neither Shane nor Rebecca was expecting. Also, as with the other three books, is the sub story of the tragic lives of the ghosts which was partly uncovered and put to rest as some spooky things started happening.

Worth a credit? No, as it was only $7.34 which is what you'd expect for a light, easy-going listen and, although it was quite short, it was still a very very enjoyable story and I'm going to miss each and every one of the loveable MacKade family.

As with all of Nora Roberts books each chapter is richly described so you can visualise them in your mind which adds to the enjoyment of the story. Devin, the handsome town Sheriff, has loved Cassie for 12 years but she made a terrible mistake when she married a vicious man who cruelly abused her but now that he is safely locked away and Cassie and her children are settled it's only a matter of time until Devin's tightly held emotions finally breaks.

When it does there's a lot of tender touching scenes between the whole family but it's not too long before misunderstandings of a boy, the past reappearing and a desperate life/death struggle makes things come crashing to a head.

Worth a credit? Every NR book is a safe bet for me because I know that I'm going to be entertained by a plot that will have it's ups and downs, drama, action, angst, very light but passion filled sex scenes and a sweet romance and this one didn't let me down. Yes, it was predictable fluff but, as with the whole series, there's also a paranormal story running through it too as ghosts from long ago continue to haunt the living and their stories eerily interlock with each MacKade. This is a fairly short, easy going, feel-good listen and is priced fairly at $7.34 so I just bought it saving my credit for a 'meatier' listen.

This tragic epic love story is like no other I have ever listened to or read..... it's heartbreakingly raw, emotionally draining, the words of love are passionate, the sex scenes are erotic and, as I was swept up in this beautiful but sad story that'll stay with me long after it's finished, I marvelled at Ella Frank's ability to write such a haunting thought provoking tale.

As the story starts, you don't know what has happened, or what's coming next nor can you imagine how it's possibly going to end so all you can do is listen as chapter after chapter you slowly begin to understand that this intensely painful, romantic, poignant, heartbreaking listen about grief, loss, devastation, love and hope will consume you until the very last word.

Worth a credit? This love story is so well written and I don't want to give anything away so all I can say is that it isn't the usual romance it's a tragedy and will leave you feeling sad and heartbroken for all three characters in this book. This is not a 'feel good' listen that'll put a smile on your face but it is an overwhelmingly sad work of art. It's very creditworthy but it has left me an emotional wreck, so BEWARE.

I grew up believing in right and wrong, good and evil, black and white. I knew better than to trust. And then I met Tyler Sharp. Bold, charming, and dangerously sexy, Tyler always gets what he wants. But his smile can be deceiving, his dealings sordid, his ambitions ruthless. I thought I was the one woman strong enough to resist him, but our need for each other was too urgent to deny. One look and I was in trouble. One touch and I was hooked. One night and I became his.

This was a good second instalment in the Most Wanted Trilogy and this time it's about Tyler, the second of The Knights to fall victim to Cupid's arrow.

First, let me get the negatives out the way…. I said it was good BUT it just wasn't up to JK's usual standard of writing as she relied very heavily on a lot of sex scenes and, I never thought I'd say this, but they got a bit boring so I would have liked a bit more story. The plot of Sloane, a female Homicide Detective who's worked Vice and Drugs, being all tongue tied and lost for words seemed unrealistic and she came across as mild and a bit weak which is again unrealistic.

However, it was an enjoyable opposites attract love story as Sloane and Tyler's instant sizzling chemistry played out into a hot voyeuristic romance with slight BDSM but the plot was Sloane, on medical leave goes to Chicago needing to find her missing friend, following clues and describes the lengths she goes to to find out what happened to her. Both H/H have terrible histories buried deep, secrets, murder, drama, twists and some tender shared times makes up this listen.

Worth a credit? Despite my negative comments this was an entertaining hot listen that has the rich, handsome, likeable, charismatic, domineering Millionaire bad boy Tyler having to say sorry more than once in order to keep the love of his life. Looking forward to Cole's story next and YES this is a creditworthy Trilogy but don't expect it to be on the same scale of The Stark Trilogy.

Well this time J Kinner has given us The Knights... Evan, Tyler and Cole who are all drool-worthy, rich, successful and charismatic guys each with their own story to be told. In this one Evan has always been attracted to their Mentor's Niece Angie but promised him he would never touch her but now that she's all grown up and his Mentor is dead, he is finding it harder to resist the beautiful, strong and sexy woman that she has become. From the age of 16 Angie has always had an all consuming crush on Evan and, after years of longing and now aged 23, she is now determined to corrupt him however once she starts to tease him she finds out that he's intense, possessive, controlling, romantic and an all Alpha male.... and Angie finds out that she likes it that way.

Horrific pasts, sexual tension, secrets, action-packed, twists, mystery, surprises and some hot sex makes this forbidden love story the start of (hopefully) a great trilogy.

BUT the narration is awful, now I'm all for equal opportunities and all that, but to have a narrator with a sometimes lisp talking about bedroom scenes like.... I want to thpank you, you've got thexy hipths and thoft curves, I want to kith your lipths, thpread for me I want to be inthide you, thon of a bitch, yeth yeth yeth..... well you get the drift, it spoils the thexual intenthity. Also she breaks the sentence-------down and you-------don't get the flow-----of the scene-----without lots of unnecessary------dramatic pauses.

Worth a credit? But despite the narration, this intense sweet love affair is still well worth the credit and here's hoping book 2 will have a different narrator.

These books are always a sure thing for me as I love rugged Highlanders but I find that I can't just listen to them one after another because then they become a bit repetitive so instead I visit the Clans off an on so the format never becomes stale.

I really enjoyed this one which was funny, frustrating, heartbreaking and had a good plot of a jilted lover, memory loss, an evil dead wife who left a terrible legacy, traitors, revenge, loveable children, good secondary characters and a strong Heroine who's hell bent on keeping her man no matter what sh&t the Hero throws her way. There wasn't a great deal of romance and the sex was tame but the feelings they once had for each other were always there somewhere and thankfully surfaced at the end.

Worth a credit? If you're in the mood for a fairly lighthearted Highland tale with an ending that'll leave you with a smile on your face then look no further and these books could each be stand alone listens. I'm slowly working my way through all of Hannah Howell's impressive collection of Clan based Warriors and don't regret any of the credits so YES IMHO worth a credit.
