"Another wonderful instalment"
If you have enjoyed any of the other Pip and Flinx books you should not miss this one. Flinx' encounters with the Aan in tis books provide a nice viewpoint. A perspective on how something can be both truly alien and truly human at once. A good space adventure that is both relaxing and entertaining
"The characters come to life"
This second installment in the Belgariad is just as enjoyable as the first. Cameron's reading is excellent and he manages to bring the characters to life. A lovely fantasy adventure, that incorporates the best of family values. The story of a boy on his way to manhood, and the people who guide him along the way. A good listen for juveniles as well
"Pure Adventure"
For those who don't know the adventures of Pip and Flinx. I would recommend this. One of the first space adventure books I ever read. It remains as entertaining in audio format. Unassuming it is a true space adventure that does not overwhelm with too much science. Something that you can really sit back and enjoy
"A Must for Artemis Fowl fans"
This newest installment in the Artemis Fowl series does not fail to impress. Ever entertaining as the others stories in the set are. The introduction of Artemis' younger sibling also adds a delightful new aspect to the series. Dont miss this one if you are a fan
"A nice twist"
Typical Neil Gaiman Fare. A wonderful short story that puts a nice twist on Sherlock Holmes. The purist may not appreciate this. I would however recommend the story for anyone else that likes Holmes and does not mind an alternate point of view.
"Shocking!"
Not at all what I expected. Having heard the hype, but not having seen the movie, I gave this a try. It might make a particular statement about the harsh realities faced by Gays in part of the US. It is however not something that I would recommend for the sensitive listener. It is a harsh statement of reality.
"Humerous"
I long time fan of the Pip and Flinx Adventures, I was delighted to see that audible would add the entire series. What was even better is that that would retain continuity by having Stefan Rudnicki read the entire series. I enjoyed this book in particular, as it is less serious than the others and has a definite homorous slant to it. A relaxing enjoyable adventure.
"Delightful"
I love Neil Gaiman as a general rule. This short story however takes his writing to new heights. A laugh a minute, delightful and unassuming. I truly recommend it for anyone who needs a lift
