It was an okay book. Not great but not bad. Slow as hell in the beginning but overall pretty good. I'm going to try another one of his titles and see if it's any better. One thing is for sure, Michael's wife Elizabeth... biggest pain in the ass I've ever heard. Someone should have shot her in the book.
I wasn't sure if I would like this book, but to be honest, I LOVED IT! It kept me glued to my iPod non-stop. I couldn't stop listening. Really great story - very different than the usual spy thriller. I definitely recommend you try it. I'll be getting his other Gray Man title next!
This was okay. Not my first choice of a book, but hopefully he'll get better with time. I wasn't crazy about the author repeating things over and over again. For example, when Dewey pulls out his Colt he keeps repeating the full model of the weapon. We get it - it's the Colt.
As well, in other cases, some Deltas got taken out very easily. Now, I don't know much about being in the Delta Force, but from what I understand, they're the best of the best and don't even technical exist. I would think with that level of training it would be hard to take them out.
The accents at times wanted me to find the narrarator and choke him, but I got over it.
If you read all your other authors, then give this guy a chance. It's not that bad.
