As the world spirals even further down into the abyss of apocalypse, one man struggles to keep those around him safe. Michael stands side by side with his wife, their children, his friends, and the wonder Bulldog, along with the Wal-Mart greeter Tommy, who is infinitely more than he appears. Whether Tommy is leading Mike and his family and friends to salvation or death remains to be seen.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

    Yes. I laugh out loud.

What did you like best about this story?

The story, though actually disgusting in many ways, is written in a way . .and then read in a way . .that is just too funny!

Which character – as performed by Sean Runnette – was your favorite?

I love the main character and BT together . .

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    Yes.

    Any additional comments?

This narrator is perfect for this story. Kudos.

Fifteen-year-old Christopher Boone has Asperger's Syndrome, a condition similar to autism. He doesn't like to be touched or meet new people, he cannot make small talk, and he hates the colors brown and yellow. He is a math whiz with a very logical brain who loves solving puzzles that have definite answers.

If you could sum up The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time in three words, what would they be?

I can't . . .funny different perspective somewhat tragic honesttoo many words. Sorry!

What did you like best about this story?

    The way Christopher thinks.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Christopher's conversations are my favorite parts as he is so literal, and honest.

Who was the most memorable character of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and why?

Christopher and his father are the two that dominate the story, but Christopher's teacher and friendly older neighbor are certainly memorable.

    Any additional comments?

I found this book to be captivating. There isn't any one thing, just all of Christopher's thoughts and how he acknowledges his quirks so matter of factly, and everyone else's too, as just the way things are. I don't really know how to describe it . .fresh, funny,? yes, but tragic and sad . .family relationships and all the 'gray areas' of life . . anyway, worth a read.

In a New York City fifty years in the future, Detective Eve Dallas tracks down those who break the law - including the ones sworn to uphold it. Eve Dallas and her partner, Peabody, are following up on a brutal, senseless crime - an elderly grocery owner killed by three stoned punks for nothing more than kicks and snacks. And for the first time, Peabody is primary detective on the case, which means she has to get used to a new level of authority and responsibility. Good thing she learned the ropes from a master like Eve. But after rounding up the perps, Peabody stumbles upon a much trickier situation.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I love this series of books and its characters, always recommend them.

How could the performance have been better?

I do not like this narrator. Her voice is ok but the voices for the characters is ALL wrong. She had Peobody sounding like some gravelly stupid old man . .. and a few of the male characters sounding like women . .and Rourke? come on . . .just wrong voices all around.

Could you see Treachery In Death being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I could see them taking this series and making a bad movie, but I could also see this premise as being a great TV cop show, if done right. I'll have to get back to you on casting.
