New York Times best-selling author Carl Weber and award-winning novelist Eric Pete team up to deliver the first in a much-anticipated new trilogy. The Family Business features two times the heat, two times the fun, and two times the drama as the members of an unforgettable family (not to mention their lovers and hangers-on) find their way in and out of trouble. As their many fans will attest, Weber and Pete share a talent for penning juicy fiction that their audience can’t get enough of.

What made the experience of listening to The Family Business the most enjoyable?

I never in a million years would have guessed that this story would turn out to be about this type of family business. When I finally realized what LC was capable I just had to shake my head, and to raise his children up in this manner, well needless to say, I was shocked.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I would have to say Paris because she just didn't give a care. She was what she was and nobody could do anything about it.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

Each narrator was very effective in their performance. I greatly enjoyed each one.

If you could rename The Family Business, what would you call it?

This was the perfect name because they did actually own a family business, it just wasn't the type of business that the average person would know about.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

    Someone much older.

Has The Forgotten Man turned you off from other books in this genre?

Yes - I thought switching to a murder mystery would be a nice change of pace, but if I had to use this book to make a final determination, the outcome would be fatal.

How could the performance have been better?

The storyline could have been better.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Forgotten Man?

    The dream sequence.

Would you listen to The Family Business 2 again? Why?

I would definitely listen to this story again because there was never a dull moment. I listened to this book while my book club members read the book. So when comments were asked and answered, I would give my answers in the voices with which certain characters were used in the book and my book club members truly enjoyed my comments. A couple of ladies downloaded the book during the meeting. I just love it. I can't wait to find out what our next book will be so I can search for it on Audible.Com.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

The narrator's were great. They were so life like, it was incredible.

Who was the most memorable character of The Family Business 2 and why?

Paris - she was a hot mess!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this book because it was a very good read. This was my very first audiobook and I am hooked for life.

What other book might you compare The Deal, the Dance, and the Devil to and why?

    I can't answer this one.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    The twins birthday party.

If you could take any character from The Deal, the Dance, and the Devil out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Shay Shantay because it would be fun people watching with her and it would be equally interesting to hear her conversation concerning her dislike of other people. She's such a schemer and so sure of herself, it makes me want to slap her.
