"Loved It!"
First off, this is a sequel to the Second Assistant. Make sure you get that first. But what I really enjoyed about this book was the narrator. She was GREAT! Such a pleasure to listen to, she also did all of the accents really good.
I laughed out loud a couple of times.
I highly recommend it.
"A hot mess, but interesting"
I like that she narrated it. In the beginning, I was just saying, dear god, this girl was so stupid and kept getting herself into so much trouble. But after a while, I began to see that she just wasn't brought up normally. She wasn't giving the tools to deal with life.
It was an interesting story. And in the end, I found her to be one tough cookie.
"Very Good"
I actually purchased it over a year ago but somehow never started it.
In the very beginning since it was based on 6 different people, it was hard to follow but very quickly I was able to. Very good character structure and a very interesting story.
"A Great Listen!"
I have very happy with this book. Rob did a great job narrating this/his book.
It was very interesting and kept me entertained.
I highly recommend this book.
"It held my interest"
I liked the narrator, not bad. I also like that there were 4 storylines, so I didn't get bored. Very easy to follow. Not rocket science, but if you want to turn off your brain for a while, this is good.
"it held my interest but...."
I didn't like the male narrator, I would of preferred the female to do the whole book. I also hated the male character, he was weak and spinless. I couldn't feel for him at all.
"WOW, finished it in 3 days!"
What a great book! It was so well written and the narrator, Hope Davis was so good.
The story took me completely off guard! I highly recommend this one. I haven't downloaded any books by this author before, but I am about to.
"pretty good, sort of sad"
It was okay. It held my attention. I really liked the narrator, especially since she had to narrate the three different perspectives of Mom, older sister and younger sister.
"Interesting Read/Listen"
Many of the reviews were very helpful to me. Julie Powell as the narrator, she did a good job. Heck it was her own story so I wouldn't of wanted some other narrator to do it.
It did take some really great courage for her to write about this/these experiences.
She was very honest and I give her credit for it, but I think she has come off very arrogant and selfish, by wanting her cake and eating it too.
"really good."
It kept me on the edge of my seat.
Try it.
"I LMAO many times"
She is so funny. I loved that she also narrated it. I couldn't imagine anyone else doing it. If you like Kathy Griffin, you will LOVE this book. I highly recommend.
