    Many things about Angela's Ashes were worth the length. Excellent description and use of language take a person to the Irish countryside. The characters are many faceted and came to life. The ending however was a great dissappointment after such a literary journey.

    This book carried me way past my bedtime as I couldn't turn it off. Surprised I found it in the kids section as some graphic disturbing description. I will search for more of his work.
