I only read David's books that are not real suspenseful because I don't like high suspense. This was awesome and very entertaining.
Since the description of the book didn't give the impression there would be potty mouth and because the title of the book indicated same - I was shocked when some words were used. It was a good book, good story and my only criticism would be the potty mouth occasionally.
I was scratching my head at the end wondering why it ended the way it did but it was very entertaining.
Even though I did not LOVE LOVE this book, I still got enough out of it to recommend it to other readers. Helps you put things in perspective.
This was my first Terry Blackstock book! It was very entertaining and well written in my opinion. Helps bring home the point that God gives us second chances, and third, and fourth.
I haven't read alot of Kristin Hannah's books before but I really liked this one. I will read more and be encouraged if her other books are better than this one.
I did not like this..I started to just quit listening to it because it was shallow and felt like the storyline was mostly physical, not about real feelings. I got through it and would say it was ok, or less.
This book helps christians understand that even christians can be weak and make mistakes. Love the way Karen helped me understand how we judge unfairly our fellow christians.
I personally don't like high suspense mysteries as is the case with most of David's books. This one and the Christmas Train were ones that I absolutely loved. Reading Wish you well now and loving it too!
I think there have only been one or two of Karen Kingsbury's books that I didn't enjoy immensely. This was one of those that was very good; kept my interest throughout.
