  • Visits from the Afterlife: The Truth about Hauntings, Spirits, and Reunions with Lost Loved Ones

    • ABRIDGED (4 hrs and 6 mins)
    • By Sylvia Browne
    • Narrated By Jeanie Hackett

Sylvia Browne showed us how to get in touch with departed loved ones in The Other Side and Back and Life on The Other Side. In Visits from the Afterlife, Browne journeys even deeper into The Other Side. She describes visitations with ghosts and travels to haunted homes and ships possessed by the otherworldly forces who walk their deserted decks. Through these spiritual visits, she explains the reasons behind many of the world's most bizarre and mysterious hauntings.

"Hear what you want to hear...."

I got this book because I was looking for an answer, and that is what I found. Listen to this book if you want to believe, forget this book if you are looking for the truth. This quirky book led me to investigate the author. Now I know that I had been had. The book is entertaining, but should be re-classified as fiction.

  • The Best Democracy Money Can Buy: The Truth About Corporate Cons, Globalization, & High-Finance Fraudsters

    • ABRIDGED (6 hrs)
    • By Greg Palast
    • Narrated By Greg Palast, Ed Asner, Alec Baldwin, and others

Award-winning investigative journalist Greg Palast digs deep to unearth the ugly facts that few reporters working anywhere in the world today have the courage or ability to cover. From East Timor to Waco, he has exposed some of the most egregious cases of political corruption, corporate fraud, and financial manipulation in the US and abroad.

Josh says: "Great information, poor presentation"

Good book to reinforce your radically liberal ideals. I, unfortunately, do not have any. I did like this book for the same reason I do not read Rush Limbaugh - not objective.
