On a busy Washington morning, the stately calm of the White House is shattered in a deadly terrorist attack on the executive mansion. The president is evacuated to an underground bunker, but not before nearly one hundred hostages are taken. Mitch Rapp, the CIA’s top counterterrorism operative, is sent in to take control of the crisis and determines that the president is not as safe as Washington’s power elite had thought....

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Just finished my first Vince Flynn book, "Transfer Of Power" and I was not disappointed. I have always been a huge Tom Clancy and I feared this might have been considered cheating on him. Having said that, I am still solidly in the Clancy Camp. As for heros I am confident that John Clark could kick Mitch Rapp's ass. And in regards to narration Nick Sullivan is NO Scott Brick. Regardless this is a fun read (listen) the proverbial page turner.

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

If you could sum up New York in three words, what would they be?

In July 1890, Vincent van Gogh went into a cornfield and shot himself. Or did he? Why would an artist at the height of his creative powers attempt to take his life... and then walk a mile to a doctor's house for help? Who was the crooked little "color man" Vincent had claimed was stalking him across France? And why had the painter recently become deathly afraid of a certain shade of blue? These are just a few of the questions confronting Vincent's friends who vow to discover the truth of van Gogh's untimely death.

John says: "Not Moore at his funniest, but Moore completely"
    "Con, Does not speak French...."
