Yes. Yes. A thousand times, YES. Davina Porter is fantastic. And Diana's writing is unparalleled. Together, they make the best series of all time.
On a regular basis.
Diana Gabaldon has the gift of words. And Davina Porter takes them to a whole new level.
Yes. Davina Porter is Claire. Hands down. 100%. She brings Claire and Jamie to life.
Jamie. He is what every girls wants in a man. Warts and all.
It is classic Diana Gabaldon, the writing is exquisite. The characters are richly developed. The story is engaging, funny, suspenseful, steamy, deep.
The gorgeous writing. No one does words like Diana.
Claire. Davina is Claire. Hands down. And she has the ability to be each character so flawlessly. Davina Porter is the best narrator of any audiobook I have ever listened to.
It better be as good as the book, or you will have a big ol mess of angry fans knocking on your door. With pick axes.
Not knowing what will happen next.
None. Mr. Martin's willingness to write wherever the story takes him is awesome, and terrifying. No other author I have read would take the risks he takes with his characters.
It made me afraid to turn the next page. I found myself saying, "Why Mr. Martin...Why/"
Fun, thought provoking
Not the ending. That was disappointing
This was a good series. It made me wish for a deeper experience, though.
It is a fun story and hard to put down. Leaves you wanting more. As an older reader, I can see the potential for a deeper, more epic tale in these YA books. Don't get me wrong, I love this series. But oh...what it could have been if written as a more adult style fiction.
It was a good story.
Fun and engaging.
It was a good story. Not as fleshed out as it could have been, but being a YA novel that is understandable. It was a fun read.
There is a lot of sex, but it is well written in that regard. Not your typical romance novel vocabulary. Those tend to make you roll your eyes, Fifty Shades makes you need a cold shower.
It was a fun and easy read.
Well.... it made my husband happy.
It ranks in the same category of the Twilight Saga, and the Hunger Games. It is an easy read. Highly entertaining, but not emotionally wrenching, as more in depth novels can be.
Uh....Mr. Grey. Elevator. Nuff said.
Fun, sexy, easy read.
