This book was amazing! It really puts humanity into perspective. Somehow, the allien, Wanderer, seemed to be more humane than the real humans. I loved Kate's narrating. She really kept me interested in the story with her great story telling. I recommend this book! Great job Stephenie and Kate!

Not so very long ago, Eragon - Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider - was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders. months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can.

    Story

This book was a good closing for the Inheritance cycle. However, I personally felt that the character of Arya had drastically changed. She didn't seem to be the same Arya from the other books or suddenly changed somewhere in between the story line. What I did not like was the ending. I thought it was a little too unepical! The author could have tried a little harder with the ending.

Oscar Wilde’s classic story of a young man who sells his soul in exchange for eternal beauty and youth continues to thrill generations of readers. Written by a man who was every bit as flamboyant and unconventional as its hero, The Picture of Dorian Gray is as haunting today as when it first shocked the British public in 1891. Dorian Gray, young, intelligent, sophisticated, gazes on his freshly painted portrait.

Martha says: "A slow-burn thriller with rich prose and subtext."
