    The production value was over the top great. Unfortunately I found the story sci-fi cheezy and boring. Evidently I am in the minority on this one but I thought the story was complete crap.

    This was very engaging and kept me entertained but it's one of those stories that don't really have a story ark. It was good but there is no real goal the characters are striving for. And it definately shoodNOT BE UNDER HORROR!!!! Just because it had "demons" in it does not make it scary.

    Every time I wine about lengthy setups I wonder if I would like the book and characters without it. If you are going through the Dark Tower books, check this one out before the Wolves of the Calla. You'll thank me. Loved this book. It must have been a real feat to reimagine an icon like the vampire and not be cheezy.
