"Really?"
the reading was slow and jerky, the book, although cited, contained info with no credible sources and was rather obviously BS. I wouldn't read it again.
"Like a less-rambling Smodcast"
Pretty easy - take Smodcast, make it a book, sprinkle in some Jay and Bob Get Old, and you have Tough Sh*t. Great book, great writing, and great reading, especially given Kevin's non-sequiturs throughout the reading.
"Great!"
I'm a big fan of the author anyway, so it should come as no surprise that I considered the story to be fantastic. Though a work of fiction, it was very well researched and based in factual biblical and canonical stories and references - a neat touch. You learned to love the unlovable character who was stuck in circumstances beyond his control. I'd recommend it to anyone, but keep an eye out for the younger readers - it's rather gory at times.
"Great narration; plodding storytelling"
long and dry
The narrator was great - I really appreciated her vocalization of the characters and her telling of the plot - it was just about the only thing that made it listenable. The story was long and drawn out, full of conjecture, and SLOW.
