"Don't recommend"
The story was silly. Also, could have been cut in half (if not more). Spent pages and pages and agonizing pages talking about two young girls obsession with David Cassidy and much less time on who these women were as adults (which was much more interesting!). Did a similar thing when telling us about Bill's life - pages and pages and pages of information that did not add to the book. It took me weeks to get through the book because I kept falling asleep!
The poor woman tried but not much you can do with a silly story.
"Gripping story"
You are hooked the minute the book starts. A great story. You will enjoy it.
Yes; he is one of my favorite readers. Sometimes I will read a book just because he is the reader.
"Enjoyed the book"
I read this book several years ago when it first came out and was hesitant to re-read, but I am so very glad I did. You can't help but get caught up in this book and you care deeply for the characters. I enjoyed Frank Muller's reading of the book and found his ability to go from character to character and his at times his incredibly fast reading of the book to be quite remarkable. Yes, there were parts of the book that dragged but that is Stephen King's style. I encourage you to listen; I doubt you will regret it.
"Painful"
I am a huge fan of Tom Clancy but this book was painful to read. It was way too long, too complex, and too many different stories going on at once without a clear connection. Also, the detail he goes into is simply painful to listen to. I forced myself to finish it but I couldn't wait for it to end.
