Until the day I met John Smith, Number Four, I'd been on the run alone, hiding and fighting to stay alive. Together, we are much more powerful. But it could only last so long before we had to separate to find the others.... I went to Spain to find Seven, and I found even more, including a tenth member of the Garde who escaped from Lorien alive. Ella is younger than the rest of us, but just as brave. Now we're looking for the others - including John. But so are they....

    "Just more of the same."

What did you like best about The Rise of Nine? What did you like least?

I am not a big fan of the multiple readers. The books are now being written to quickly, and lacks the same fun of the first book. The end recordings of Pittacus Lore, are barely "Audible", and are read in a nearly demonic voice. I believe the intent was to have a digital sound but it was not delivered well.

Would you recommend The Rise of Nine to your friends? Why or why not?

If like book series get, if you are just a casual listener I would get out now.

What didn’t you like about the narrators’s performance?

Too many voices and the women's voices are very close to each others in tone.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

NO! The first movie was bad the second can only get worse!
