Six years have passed since Jake Fisher watched Natalie, the love of his life, marry another man. Six years of hiding a broken heart by throwing himself into his career as a college professor. Six years of keeping his promise to leave Natalie alone, and six years of tortured dreams of her life with her new husband, Todd. But six years haven’t come close to extinguishing his feelings, and when Jake comes across Todd’s obituary, he can’t keep himself away from the funeral. There he gets the glimpse of Todd’s wife he’s hoping for...but she is not Natalie....

One of the best thrillers I've heard. Coben kept me intrigued throughout the entire story. This is one of the few thrillers I've read that I couldn't figure out how the story would end. Scott Brick did a wonderful job of narrating this book. I would recommend this to anyone who likes thrillers!

Lisa Scottoline writes another winner! I'm not sure how she comes up with all her original standalones but she always has plenty of twists and turns, this one is no exception! I have listened to Mary DiNunzio through the entire series and have enjoyed them all! George Newborn did a beautiful job of portraying all the characters. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good mystery/thriller!

Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive—and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plain old "human error" are much more likely to kill him first. But Mark isn't ready to give up yet. Drawing on his ingenuity, his engineering skills—and a relentless, dogged refusal to quit—he steadfastly confronts one seemingly insurmountable obstacle after the next. Will his resourcefulness be enough to overcome the impossible odds against him?"

Once again, Richard Castle and Robert Petkoff did a wonderful job of bringing Derrick Storm and other characters to life. I've enjoyed this series as well as the Nikki Heat series, both at times are a little out there, but none the less entertaining! Keep up the good work and Mr Castle as long as you keep writing them, I'll keep listening! I highly recommend both series, they won't disappoint!

Deputy coroner Mattie Winston knows a thing or two about dead bodies. That's why she's on the case of Derrick Ames, a high school math teacher stabbed to death with a barbecue fork straight to the heart. Sure, she's turned up some motives and a few suspects, but nothing adds up. Especially when the evidence points to Ames's teenage son. Newly pregnant Mattie can't believe it, even as her own long-estranged father may be following her.

Not as good as other books in the series. This book was very boring at times and seemed to dwell on being pregnant more than being a mystery. The narrator paused at the wrong places especially where there was a comma .

Millions of people visit xkcd.com each week to read Randall Munroe's iconic webcomic. His stick-figure drawings about science, technology, language, and love have a large and passionate following. Fans of xkcd ask Munroe a lot of strange questions. What if you tried to hit a baseball pitched at 90 percent of the speed of light? How fast can you hit a speed bump while driving and live? If there were a robot apocalypse, how long would humanity last?

Randall Monroe is a very intelligent person with a sense of humor! Wil Wheaton does an excellent job of reading the story. He does an excellent job of pausing and lowering his voice to drive the meaning home. You do not have to be a mathematician or scientist to enjoy this book. Everything is very well explained so that even a layman would have no problem understanding it. I highly recommend this book to everyone!

I couldn't help thinking this story was the female version of Turner & Hooch. However as the book progressed I realized the movie may have sparked an idea, but the author penned an original story. The narrator was excellent for this story. I'll be sure to give the next book in the series a try.
